Investing in the wisdom, talent and work ethic of women always yields the greatest return as we seek to break the cycle of poverty in peoples’ lives.
As women are often responsible stewards in their families and communities, they have an unwritten social contract with one another—to cooperate and collaborate, sharing what they know and celebrating each other’s success.
Many women take on the role of making the hard choices between food, education, clothing, healthcare and improvements to their home. They look out for their neighbors, and they put their families first in everything.
