In collaboration with AWS, FINCA has embraced AI as a transformative force on our path to eradicating global poverty. FINCA is developing an AI-powered innovative platform to enhance our research and drastically accelerate how we identify evidence-backed poverty solutions.
The Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) program at the Gates Foundation and FINCA are partnering to test mechanisms to unlock capital for women in Africa – using Uganda as a test case – and piloting new financial products and services that create on-ramps for women to move up the “access to finance ladder”.
Kiva is working with FINCA Uganda to finance their program to lend to refugees. Under this project, FINCA Uganda intends to introduce a Refugee Individual Loan product that will deliver financial services to any legally registered Refugee who wishes to borrow.
