Dans la ville vallonn\u00e9e de Jinotepe, au Nicaragua, Nelson Zuniga Lopez s’occupe de ses 60 000 orangers, citronniers, manguiers, goyaviers et cacaoyers sur son terrain d’un hectare. \u00c0 l’avant de sa p\u00e9pini\u00e8re se trouvent plusieurs grands aquariums de poissons exotiques, qu’il vend aux centres commerciaux du pays. Aujourd’hui, M. Nelson se r\u00e9jouit de la croissance r\u00e9guli\u00e8re de son entreprise, mais il n’y a pas si longtemps, il avait du mal \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper son activit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

En tant que propri\u00e9taire d’une petite entreprise, M. Nelson avait du mal \u00e0 obtenir des pr\u00eats aupr\u00e8s des grandes banques commerciales. \u00ab\u00a0Les grandes banques ne servent pas les gens comme moi<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, explique-t-il. Lorsqu’il a tent\u00e9 d’obtenir un pr\u00eat pour l’achat d’un camion, Nelson s’est vu opposer une fin de non-recevoir.<\/p>\n

Il y a moins d’un an, M. Nelson a pu obtenir un pr\u00eat de 3 000 dollars aupr\u00e8s de FINCA. Il en est maintenant \u00e0 son deuxi\u00e8me pr\u00eat de 10 000 dollars et utilise le cr\u00e9dit pour acheter de la terre, de l’engrais et de l’insecticide. En outre, les pr\u00eats aident \u00e0 payer les salaires de ses employ\u00e9s.<\/p>\n
