On Saturday, April 16, a devastating earthquake hit Ecuador.<\/p>\n

FINCA is at work in the affected communities. We know that our offices have sustained damage, but we\u2019re still assessing the full impact on our clients, staff and their families.<\/p>\n

With communications cut-off, the full extent of the damage caused by the 7.8 magnitude earthquake to FINCA\u2019s Ecuador offices and the communities in which we work is still unknown, but what is known is that FINCA\u2019s commitment to our clients will remain steadfast as they begin the difficult process of rebuilding.<\/p>\n

As we have seen in Haiti and other disaster zones, FINCA\u2019s small loans<\/a> can be a lifeline to families whose businesses and livelihoods have been destroyed. FINCA is committed to standing with our clients as they courageously begin again.<\/p>\n

Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Ecuador. And we stand with and support the immediate response efforts by the many relief agencies during this difficult time.
