FINCA’s mission is to alleviate poverty. That’s a big job, but we have more than 30 years of success in seeing big change from small beginnings. In fact, we believe that our approach to sustainable development is a key part of the big success of microfinance.
Our approach is simple but effective: provide small loans to the poor who are already entrepreneurs—people with few resources but big dreams. Not only do they pay back their loans, but now that money can be re-invested in new opportunities for others.
