The Power of One Woman

For 30 years, FINCA has empowered women entrepreneurs, knowing full well that poverty disproportionately affects women and girls. We also know that empowering women has a ripple effect. In an increasing number of families, the woman provides a substantial portion— or all—of the family’s income. Women also invest in building their communities by hiring and training other women, who can then help their families, and so on.
