Can Entrepreneurship Close the Gender Gap?

A Panel Discussion on the Future of Women’s Equality in the Developing World

Worldwide, women have come a long way and more women are working and holding positions of leadership than ever before.

Despite this momentum, women will still have to wait 118 years to close the global gender gap in the workplace, according to recent research by the World Economic Forum.

Is entrepreneurship the key to closing the gender gap? In recent years, entrepreneurship increasingly has been recognized as critical to economic development around the world, especially among poorer nations.

Join thought-leaders from global development, think tanks and academia on March 1st at FINCA, in honor of International Women’s Day, to discuss what needs to be done to help achieve gender parity and whether entrepreneurship is the key to closing the gender gap.

Registration is now closed. Please keep checking back for new events.
