On June 13, heavy rain and flash floods severely damaged homes in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi–damaging businesses and devastating lives.

FINCA stands with the people of Georgia during this incredibly difficult period. While FINCA’s 40 branches escaped damage and are able to continue serving our clients, many residents now face an uncertain future. Some of our clients did not fare well, with damages to their homes.

FINCA Georgia  is committed to helping clients affected by the floods and has aided families by supplying water, food, and removing mud from their homes. On June 15, hundreds of staff from FINCA Georgia, recovery volunteers, and rescue team members participated in a clean-up of Mziuri Park in central Tbilisi. Our employees helped to provide water and food for volunteers cleaning the park.

As the Georgian people begin the long road to recovery, please join us in keeping them in your thoughts.
